Crits

Adrianna -

- apparent disconnect between the entire structure, or what seems to be the shell and everything that dwells within it.

- I like that from the outside it seems to be something "not of this world"

- very specific to this project and ultimately specific to the elevator itself.

- the interior architecture has a much more "normal" feel to it.

- As a whole the scale of the project is pretty large, but once you get inside to the "stuff" of the project its much more human scale.

- I agree with Fox's comments about being more angular, I think that when out on the ocean, a very structured rigid environment might provide sensual comfort.

Loren + Cecile -

- New architecture reminiscent of social housing

- Maybe try to incorporate "pockets of acitivity" so residents aren't so privatized

- Try to resolve the awkward "junction" at the corners of the building and the structure

- Try to create a sort of continuity, so the structure becomes the building
